Weather Guidelines
- If it is raining and there is no thunder or lightning, we will meet as planned. Scouts should show up at the meeting prepared with raingear.
- If there is thunder or lightning within 1/2 hour of our start time (7:15PM) at our meeting location, whether or not it is raining, we will not meet in person.
- If thunder or lightning occur during the outdoor meeting, we will dismiss immediately. If there is a likelihood of thunder or lightning in the area on a meeting night, please be prepared to pick your son up from the meeting at a moment’s notice.
General Guidelines
- Scouts may wear their activity uniform which consists of a troop or scouting t-shirt with scout pants/shorts, closed toe/heel shoes, scout belt. Scouts that have a Board of Review should be in field uniform.
- Dress for the weather. We will still meet if it is raining.
- All Scouts should bring their Nalgene water bottle when meeting outside.
- A headlamp is also good at the beginning of summer as it will be dark when we finish.
- Bring a camp chair to sit in during the meeting.
